Welcome to Bluemist Farms
Located on the beautiful California Central Coast is our small horse farm where we raise and breed some of the finest Spanish Andalusian horses. Our 50 acre farm has stables for the stallions and plenty of pasture on rolling oak studded hills for the natural exercise and care of the mares and young.
We Started several years ago with a single mare specially imported from the prestigious Yeguada Soto Gil in Northern Spain. Today, we have grown and have added additional bloodlines of other emblematic families. Each year we offer excellent foals and fillies as well as adult horses for almost every purpose.
The Spanish Sport Horse
Also known as the Andalusian or the Pura Raza Espanola (PRE). This horse is ideal as a noble and gentle riding horse or for work in Carriage, Doma Classica, or Dressage. It has been described as the Horse of Kings for its nobility, beauty, elegance in the air, and exemplary movements. It is very spectacular and docile in hand. It is a beautiful picture horse with a spectacular mane and tail, and comes in a variety of colors including grey, chestnut, bay and black.
